George Stephenson House Serviced Apartments

In November 2024, Dynamo Vision developed a 3D immersive digital twin with client Teesside Estates for the renovation of the former HMRC George Stephenson House building in Stockton On Tees, England, into luxury serviced apartments. The transformed location showcased a tech-driven hub featuring 50 self-enclosed apartment suites and high-end amenities situated along the vibrant River Tees.

Built in 1999, the former HMRC office building was named after George Stephenson, known as the ‘father of railways’, who pioneered the first ever passenger train with the Stockton and Darlington Railway in 1825. This legacy speaks to a local history of transformative innovation and cutting edge technology – a perfect setting for a first-of-a-kind smart accommodation hub.

With 3,663 square metres across three floors, this riverside complex was to be transformed into innovative serviced apartments with technology & sustainability at its core. Aimed at professional business clientele, the serviced apartments boasts a range of amenities from business meeting rooms and co-working spaces to luxury dining facilities and a 24hr gym.
